SmackDab PR & Marketing is run by Sacha DeGroot, who brings more than nine years of experience and insight to the company. With both corporate and agency experience in the technology sector, Sacha DeGroot has expert media relations skills, the ability to write clear copy, detail-oriented event management skills and brings big picture thinking to the company and clients.

In the past, Sacha has performed public relations and marketing duties for such companies as NCR, SAP, Marconi, Sony PlayStation, Descartes, and the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition. She has garnered publicity for clients in some of the following media outlets: Fortune Magazine, Business 2.0, Macleans Magazine, Toronto Star, Canadian Business, The Globe and Mail, National Post, Global TV, City TV, Computing Canada, ComputerWorld, and many more.

Sacha is a graduate of the University of Waterloo in honors English Literature and is a graduate of Seneca’s Corporate Communications program.
